Anyway, this is the site she meant: My Mom, The Style Icon. Not bad. Moms are pretty fantastic; I’m totally for promoting their awesomeness.

Oops. I sort of forgot I had a blog.

Then my friend Kristy mentioned it on my Facebook wall the other day, which reminded me.

Then I Facebook-stalked Kristy, which led me to Kristy’s Etsy store, Imagination Nation, as well as to style rookie, a fashion blog by a 13-year-old girl named Tavi with sweet clothes and a refreshing perspective. These two places led me to buy a pair of Kristy’s amazing hand-knit legwarmers, and to want to do some bloggin’, respectively.

Both places also made me feel like paying more attention to what I wear. Thanks, girls for breaking me out of my frumpy overzealous winter layering. (Turns out five shirts at a time are, in fact, too many.)

So anyway, hi. Let’s see if I can keep this thing going.
